We carried them on ships
On caravan and cargo
Unbeknownst to us
As to how far they’d go

Ignorant to us, they carried disease
Filth and vermin they spread
Tormented continents without rest
Leaving in their wake the ill and dead

Stole food and consumed
Left us with nothing
But pain and suffering
Without even intending

Trash ripped apart in search of meals
Hive minds guided to corpses
Teeth gnash like jagged thorns
Invade they did, home interlopers
