Fields of Feldspar

Fields of Feldspar

So many fields
So many welds
Where below winter nights
Bodies were felled

In one field a fair
Another an orchard
One held a meadow
Beside it a tower

All the welds
With fruit they hold
And roots
They wield

Foot traffic
Salted food

Oranges, apples
Pears and berries

Grass and weeds
Unkept but clean

Concrete and titanium
Royal grey glitter decorum

Feldspar in caves
Cut brilliantly
Crystallized
Emerald
Grass blades

Peridot blade tips
Bullion in any plane
Of plant life crisscrossing
Roots of alexandrite moss
Stalactite and
Stalagmite embossing
