Spliced

Spliced

We’re all human,
Our heads are missing,
And we’re
Living on this earth.

Am I a baby?
A real boy, maybe
Do I have rights
If I haven’t seen the light?

Does it all matter
Whether we’re lost or splattered
All over the floor
Of a hospital?

Should I change my eye color?
This pigment’s a squalor
Of my melanin
Potential.

Can I even die?
We should see and try
If any of us
Are actually alive.
