Fabricate protection
I’m unplugged

The perforated steel
Is leaking me

I’m losing my charge
Flickering eyelids,
I’m losing control of
My muscle’s switchboards

My circuit cells are failing
A power surged frame twitches
Fighting back
To stay awake

I’m leaking me
I’m losing me
All the bits of data
Are flowing from puncturings

I see my screens fluttering
My charges are sporadic
A last drop of juice
Finds the motherboard

Reach out from blackout
I’m leaking me
Lash out at void release
I’m failing me

Pump the motor
Piston the pipes
Smash the fuel
Listen to sputters

Bolt the leak
Screw in more chips
Nail in another casing
Rivet a cell worth saving

Flicker out to blackout
I’m losing me

I’m booting down

I’ve failed me
