October

October

It’s falling

It’s

Falling

I remember now

October
I remember you

I swear I could have turned around
And seen you yesterday
But no
I remember you

And that’s all I can do

I remember your brisk face
And the breeze you blew

Everything was

Falling

Free falling

Then, anyways
It isn’t anymore

But I remember

Your brisk face

I remember you
October

The pale orange
Vestige of when things were green
Beauty sapping the vital needs
In place of some pretty things

Yes
I remember you
October

Do you remember me?
