His muscles stopped feeling long ago
Dull pain is what remains
As his skeletal frame
Moves his lifeless legs
Properly dressed
For an improper event
A slender suit
Outlining his bones

On a penny-farther he rode
From his coveted abode
Down streets paved with cobble
His hands jar and wobble
And as he passed by
The people look and sigh
About things he had been through
No mortal man should go through

They knew that he carried
A history of thrice married
His wives had all been
Taken by a swine
And the things that he can see
In the past can only be
It’s not a bit what they thought of it
And he rides to set them free
